Each year we receive around £11,000 from the Scottish Government; the rest of our funding comes from generous donations, from individual members of the public, other Charity and Community groups and private companies.
Our expenditure each year is normally between £15,000 to £20,000. Our vehicles use around £600 in fuel each year, servicing costs and repairs can cost around £3,500 and insurance around £1,000 per annum. The cost of heating and lighting is around £1,500 each year. Training costs are generally £2-3000 per annum and replacement of equipment will cost around £8000 per annum. From time to time we also need to replace our vehicles which is obviously a major funding challenge and we have recently undertaken a project to build a new garage building.
